2018 Entertainment at the Castro Street Fair

Tomorrow’s the big day — we’ve got a full day of entertainment lined up at the 45th Annual Castro Street Fair.

All day long, line dancing will move hearts at the Sundance Saloon dance area. If you’re a newbie, grab a friendly lesson every hour on the hour, from 1pm to 4pm.

If a thumping beat is more your style, check out our DJs at Dance Alley. From 12:00pm to 6:00pm we’ll have great music, and starting at 4:30pm all DJs are going to play tag team, back-to-back, till close. It’s gonna be a great time!

Throughout the day, watch the thrills of Cheer SF or enjoy the dance talents of Dolores Flow. In almost every corner of the Fair, we have sights and sounds to enjoy.

And, don’t forget the fabulous lineup we have for you on the Main Stage — hosted by local luminaries Carnie Asada and Miss J, we’ve got drag and musicals and live music and rousing speeches and a performance from “the ultimate big boy of rap,” Big Dipper.

2018 Entertainment at the Castro Street Fair

Excitement is building for the 45th annual Castro Street Fair, happening in the heart of San Francisco in one week!

The entertainment lineup is full of marvelous talent — on the Main Stage we have Big Dipper, local faves The Monster Show, Spice Queers, tunes from Ms. Jackson, and plenty more. Boots will boogie at the Sundance Saloon Dance Area, for newbies and experts alike. Dance Alley will provide the beats for an afternoon of smiles with friends, featuring DJs including Elaine Denham and Siobhan Aluvlaot! And for the first time, this year, the Fair is proud to feature roaming performances from the local collective Dolores Flow. Keep an eye out for their flagging, hooping, and smiles at locations throughout the Fair! Check out the full entertainment lineup and schedule, to make sure you don’t miss your favorite acts!

We’re happy to be showcasing some food options that haven’t been seen at the Fair before, so come on by and check it out. Enjoy a beverage from our official beverage booths, we’re glad to offer Trumer Pils and Founders Brewing Co.

The Castro Street Fair is proud that some of the brightest local talent is gracing the decks at our Dance Alley. One of the most exciting entertainment areas of our annual celebration, Dance Alley always comes through with the smiles, love, and music that the Castro Street Fair is known for year after year. With the talents of Matthew Paul, Trevor Sigler, e’Lish, and Siobhan Aluvalot, 2017 will be among the best, so meet us on 18th Street on Sunday! Prepare to dance without reservation, with hundreds of your closest friends and neighbors. Remember, all it takes is a smile to make a new friend at the Castro Street Fair!
