Since 1998, the Fair is proud to have given nearly $1.5 million back to its community beneficiaries. Last year alone we donated over $50,000.00 in proceeds to our amazing nonprofit beneficiary organizational partners to help them continue providing essential services to the communities in and around the Castro. Additionally, we are proud that we were able to support the purchase and maintenance of the world-famous Rainbow Flag that flies in Harvey Milk Plaza.
Our beneficiaries for this year include:
- Castro Community on Patrol
- Instituto Familiar de la Raza
- Buen Dia Family School
- Haight Ashbury Community Nursery School
- Most Holy Redeemer – AIDS Support Group
- The Family Link
- McKinley Elementary School
- The Imperial Council of San Francisco
- Queer Life Space
- Centro Las Olas
- Castro Country Club
- The 15 Association
- SF Boom / SF Gay Softball League
- San Francisco Spikes
- Bears of San Francisco
- SF Tsunami Water Polo
Please make sure to donate at the gates (give more than $5 and you’ll get a sticker that will get you $1 off beverages), get your beverages from our official beverage booths, and donate online today to get a head start in helping our beneficiary partner organizations!
Can’t wait to see you at the 46th Annual Castro Street Fair. Next Sunday, from 11am to 6pm.
