Frequently Asked Questions

When is the Castro Street Fair?

The Castro Street Fair is always the first Sunday in October.

In 2018, the Fair will be on Sunday, October 7, 11am-6pm.

Where is the Castro Street Fair?

The Fair is located in the heart of San Francisco’s Castro District, at the intersection of Castro & 18th Streets and the surrounding area.

Is there an entrance fee to the Castro Street Fair?

We ask for a suggested donation of $5 – $10 at the entry gates. Nobody is turned away for lack of funds. Those who donate at the gates will receive $1 off adult beverages at any of our official beverage booths. Want to donate online? Visit here to give now. Thank you!

Where does the money collected at the entry gates go?

Money collected at the entry gates goes to our beneficiary partner organizations, as well as helps cover the costs of producing the Fair. Proceeds from our official beverage booths also assist deserving nonprofit groups in and around the Castro. Please patronize our beverage booths and support the exhibitors, sponsors, and neighbor merchants who help to make our Fair possible.

How do I become an Exhibitor at the Fair?

Visit our Exhibitor Registration Portal.

How does my organization become a beneficiary of the Fair?
