When is the Castro Street Fair?
The Castro Street Fair is always the first Sunday in October.
Where is the Castro Street Fair?
The Fair is located in the heart of San Francisco’s Castro District, at the intersection of Castro & Market Streets and the surrounding area.
Is there an entrance fee to the Castro Street Fair?
We ask for a suggested donation of $10 – $20 at the entry gates. Nobody is turned away for lack of funds. Want to donate online? Visit our donation page to donate. Thank you!
Where does the money collected at the entry gates go?
Money collected at the entry gates goes to our beneficiary partner organizations, and help cover the costs of producing the Fair. Proceeds assist deserving nonprofit groups in and around the Castro. Please patronize our neighbor merchants and support the exhibitors who help to make our Fair possible.
Do I need to show proof of vaccination?
We will not be requiring proof of vaccination at the gates, but we certainly encourage everyone to get vaccinated!
Do I need to wear a mask?
Our Fair is outdoors, which is considered the safest way to gather. We highly recommend that everyone wear a mask while gathering in crowds, especially if you are not vaccinated against COVID-19. Please stay informed about the latest research and data about the pandemic, one valuable resource is the CDC at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nCoV/index.html
